Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about our ADR transport services, compliance standards and how we safely manage hazardous goods movements.
Are your drivers ADR compliant?
Yes. Every driver we assign to a hazardous load holds a valid ADR Driver Training Certificate. In line with 2026 regulations, our drivers also undergo regular refresher training to stay current with the latest safety protocols, including updated digital documentation and roadside inspection procedures.
Can you handle urgent ADR deliveries?
Absolutely. We specialise in time-critical ADR transport. We understand that hazardous materials often sit at the heart of industrial processes; therefore, we offer same-day and emergency response for ADR shipments, ensuring they are moved safely without sacrificing speed.
Do you offer nationwide ADR coverage?
Yes. We provide comprehensive UK-wide coverage for ADR shipments. Whether you are moving chemicals from a port to a local laboratory or distributing industrial gases across the country, our networked fleet is equipped to handle hazardous hauls on any scale, anywhere in the UK.
What is ADR, and what classes can you carry?
ADR is the regulatory framework governing the safe carriage of dangerous goods by road. We are fully equipped to carry all ADR classes except Class 1 (Explosives) and Class 7 (Radioactive materials). Our expertise covers:
- Class 2: Gases (Compressed, liquefied, or dissolved)
- Class 3: Flammable Liquids
- Class 4: Flammable Solids & Spontaneously Combustible substances
- Class 5: Oxidising Substances & Organic Peroxides
- Class 6: Toxic & Infectious Substances
- Class 8: Corrosive Substances
- Class 9: Miscellaneous (e.g., Lithium batteries, environmentally hazardous goods)
Do I need to provide specific paperwork for an ADR shipment?
Yes. As the consignor, you are legally responsible for providing a Dangerous Goods Note (DGN). For 2026, we highly recommend utilising eFTI (Electronic Freight Transport Information) for faster processing. The documentation must include:
- UN Number (e.g., UN1203)
- Proper Shipping Name
- ADR Class and Packing Group (I, II, or III)
- Tunnel Restriction Code
- Emergency Contact Information
